Who doesn't love seeing a guy in a loincloth? For many men, their first tingle of gayness was seeing Tarzan swinging on a vine or wrestling a giant snake. Or Conan The Barbarian, Beastmaster, or Spartacus. Maybe it was an anime character wearing a fundoshi. Maybe it was even Jesus on the cross.
There's something about seeing a man wear as little as possible, not by accident (as in, getting caught in their underwear) but by choice. Nearly every culture on the planet has worn some style of loincloth. Indeed, it's been called "the world's first menswear." The loincloth is a truly pan-cultural garment.
There's a tendency to think of loincloths as something from the past or something primitive, but in truth loincloths seem to exist outside of time entirely. They can be made of nearly anything: tanned deerskin, silk, chain mail, black leather, lace, or any fabric of your choice. More than just being something from our collective history, loincloths are adaptable to nearly any fantasy scenario we can dream up; past, present, and future.
For such a basic, easy to make garment with endless variations that is so comfortable and free to move around in, there's really not much on the Internet catering to a taste for loincloths.
Well I hope to change that!
