The most unfortunate part of Tumblr's decision to abruptly alienate their core user audience: connections between content creators were lost. In the past, if I reblogged a post on Tumblr, that post could easily be followed back to its original author. Now, with former Tumblr archives scattered across multiple platforms, it's much harder to give due credit.
